Lead Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer

We require someone experienced in the refrigeration industry who is capable of supervising staff, arranging work schedules, visiting customers, pricing new works, co-ordinating all relevant Health & Safety information requirements, and standing in for Service Manager as cover for holidays, sickness, and working away.

Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Service Engineers (North West & Glasgow)

We are currently seeking good reliable service and installation engineers to carry out day to day service of all aspects of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. The right applicant must be conversant with commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning and have a good understanding/knowledge of electrical components and general refrigeration control panels/AC controllers.

Reporting to:

Service Manager

Job Purpose:

To provide technical skills in refrigeration and air conditioning in accordance with instructions provided by the service manager. To provide technical support to the other members of the team and the parts store facility for all elements of the business.

• Maintenance, installation and service of the following items
        - Air conditioning
        - Refrigeration (Ammonia experience would be an advantage but not essential)
        - Multi-skilling tasks where applicable
        - Asset collection and database improvement
        - General plantroom housekeeping
• Ensures that appropriate risk and contingency management procedures are in place, and are   being followed.
        - Carry out fault finding on items of equipment covered by contract
        - Carry out remedial repairs to these items of equipment
        - Carry out on-site installation of new equipment on site
• Update any on site database for tasks carried out.
• Provides technical support to the parts order/store/issue facility for the contract.

Key Attributes - Knowledge - Skills - Experience:

• Good understanding of parts order/store/issue processes and practices.
• Qualified to required level.
• Able to manage time effectively in the face of conflicting priorities and time scales and can be   relied on to deliver their objectives.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer literate.
